Directions & Dress Code

Location

The YORK Club is located at 135 St. George Street on the North East corner of Bloor Street and St. George Street. The main entrance faces west on St. George Street.
 

TTC Subway

We are directly south of the St. George Subway Station. As you exit the station on St. George Street, turn left and the Club entrance is immediately to the left.

Parking

The YORK Club’s parking lot can accommodate approximately 85 vehicles. The parking entrance is located on St. George Street.

 

Passenger Pick-Up and Drop-Off

The porte cochère is located on the north side of the Clubhouse, as you enter the driveway.

Dress Code

Members should dress with taste, discretion and consideration of other Members.

Members are also responsible to ensure that their guests comply with the Dress Code.  In the event of an infraction by a Member or a guest, the Board has instructed the professional staff to speak to the Member (not to the guest) with the details of the infraction.

Business Attire:
Suit, or tailored blazer or sports jacket and slacks, worn with collared, long-sleeved dress shirt, tie preferred, and with dress shoes; dress, skirt and blouse, tailored pantsuit or jacket and slacks, worn with dress shoes. Dress turtleneck permitted.

Cultural, religious and military dress are permitted.

Outerwear is not permitted in the dining rooms; all guests must leave their coats in the cloakrooms. 

The following are not acceptable at The YORK Club (no exceptions for children):
No Denim, blue jeans, blue jean jackets, cargo pants, rugby shirts, athletic turtleneck and sweaters, golf and other sport attire, shorts, clothing with large logos, sweatsuits, yoga wear, flip flops and casual sandals.
